As we continue fighting against violence, discrimination, and poverty, however, we will not forget about the importance of our roots in education. Good quality education is one very important issue that should not be forgotten if we are to achieve the effective inclusion of persons with disabilities in the lives of their communities. This will have a positive impact on poverty reduction initiatives, especially in Afghanistan. S.K.O is committed to establishing a compassionate, sharing and peaceful society, where all human being can access to resources and live with effective participation, dignity, and no discrimination. Our mission is to eliminate poverty, injustice, and violence, especially against women, by empowering impoverished communities of remote areas through education. In this process, we will give a special focus on girls and women who face multiple discrimination on account of their gender, poverty and disability.
We encourage communities to use our schools, literacy and vocational centers, and other educational programs in order to experience positive and sustainable changes in their lives and become productive and empowered citizens within the society.
I am grateful to all community elders, religious and government leaders, parents, teachers, and other villagers who believe and trust us and together with us build bridges for thousands of families.
